1. Who we are

KYNETA ("KYNETA", "we", "our", "us") is operated by a company registered in the Netherlands. This policy explains how we collect and handle personal data on our website (kyneta.fit) and, in future, through the KYNETA mobile and web application.

2. Data we collect

Waitlist signup: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name, fitness goal, training level, and dietary preference.

Usage data: We collect standard server logs and analytics data (pages visited, browser type, referring URL) using privacy-friendly analytics tools that do not use cookies or track individuals across sites.

Future app data: When the KYNETA app launches, we will collect fitness and nutrition data you choose to log. This constitutes health-related data and will be processed only with your explicit consent and in accordance with GDPR Article 9.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

Waitlist and communications: Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or clicking "unsubscribe" in any message we send.

Analytics: Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to understand how our site is used and improve it.

4. How we use your data

• To send you updates about KYNETA's launch and development
• To notify you when early access becomes available
• To improve the product based on aggregated survey responses
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

5. Email service provider

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage our mailing list. Your email and name are stored on Brevo's servers, which are GDPR-compliant. Brevo's privacy policy is available at brevo.com.

6. Data retention

We retain waitlist data until you request removal or until we no longer need it to operate the waitlist. Analytics data is retained for 12 months.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing.

To exercise any right, email support@kyneta.fit. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies. We may use a single session cookie for form security. No third-party advertising cookies are placed.

9. Children

KYNETA is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as KYNETA evolves. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
